Booking

Appointments can be made via our online booking system or calling the salon on 01506 891172.  You can also drop us an email if you have any questions about our services.  We work on an appointment only basis.  Please come to your appointment alone and on time.  If you are early you will need to wait outside until we are ready for you.

Cancelations and missed appointments

We know things happen and life can just get in the way but please try and give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel your appointment. We require at the very least 24 hours notice.  Cancel for free up to 24 hours ahead of your appointment otherwise you will be charged 50% of the service price for late cancellation or 100% for not showing up.  This policy still applies to sickness, covid and close contact cases.  If you do not agree with our cancelation policy please do not book your appointment in advance, instead contact us on the day to see if we can accommodate.

Children

We really do love children but we ask that you leave them at home when you come for your treatment.  We want you to really enjoy your time at Aura and not be stressing if your little monkey is trying to drink our wax equipment remover.  We also aren’t insured for kids to be in the salon so please arrange childcare and come to enjoy your salon experience, child free and stress free.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds on any of our services but if you are not happy with your treatment please get in touch to discuss the problem.  Nail treatments can easily break down if after care has not been followed however we will fix any chips or breakages free of charge if they happen within the first 5 days of your treatment.  

If you have purchased any products and wish to return them please return them in their original unopened packaging within 14 days and we will be happy to refund them for you.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers can be purchased from the salon or online.  Gift vouchers can be used on services or products but cannot be exchanged for cash and are non refundable.  

Your Information

We require you to fill in a record card and consultation form.  This allows us to assess if you are suitable for the service and do not have any medical conditions that would contra- indicate the treatment.  If you are not prepared to fill in these forms unfortunately we cannot go ahead with your treatment as we need this for insurance purposes.  Your information is for our use only and is stored in compliance with GDPR guidelines.  We may send you appointment reminders and marketing emails but you can request we don’t when filling in your forms. 

Covid Guidelines

If you are experiencing symptoms or have been in contact with anyone that is self isolating or has Covid please cancel your appointment.  When you come to your appointment we may take your temperature.  A face covering must be worn at all times and please use the hand sanitizer provided. If you arrive to your appointment unwell we will have to refuse treatment you maybe charged the full amount of the service booked.  Our cancelation policy still applies to all covid cases so please give us at least 24 hours notice of any cancellation.
